I took issue with the curators' identifying the World War II plane in only the sparest terms - dimensions, manufacturer, bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, Aug. 12, 2003, Providence Journal commentary, I wrote of the infamous B-29 aircraft Enola Gay and its exhibition here, at the companion facility of the Smithsonian Institution's Air and Space Museum.
